The ethylene produced by Sabic at Teeside is used in a myriad of consumer products such as detergents, cosmetics, textiles and antifreeze, as well as internally for the production of ethylene oxide and derivative products. Ethylene is distributed to Grangemouth, in Scotland and to Runcorn, in Cheshire by pipeline.
