Linewatch is a joint initiative between Esso Petroleum Co Ltd, E-ON, Shell, Mainline Pipelines Ltd, BPA, Total, ConocoPhillips, Sabic, INEOS, Wingas, Marchwood, Centrica Energy, The Oil and Pipelines Agency (Government Pipelines and Storage System) and Manchester Jetline Ltd. Between them, the 14 participants account for some 5,725 km of buried oil/gas pipelines in England, Wales and Scotland.
