"Following the latest incident in the US, (illustrated here), Damon Hill, a spokesman for the Office of Pipeline Safety, an arm of the U.S. Department of Transportation, stated "Last year saw 19 accidents involving gasoline pipelines nationally, resulting in five deaths, 13 injuries and $73 million in property damage. That's a significant reduction from two years ago".
