• Welcome to Linewatch website, We are a joint initiative between Esso Petroleum Co Ltd, E-ON, Essar, Mainline Pipelines Ltd, BPA, Total, ConocoPhillips, Sabic, INEOS, Wingas, Marchwood, Centrica Energy, StarEnergy, The Oil and Pipelines Agency (Government Pipelines and Storage System) and Manchester Jetline Ltd. Between them, the 15 participants account for some 5,961 km of buried oil/gas pipelines in England, Wales and Scotland.
  
  The picture sequence on the left is from an incident that occurred in America and shows the devastation that could be created by an incident. Linewatch’s aim is to prevent this from happening in the UK.
